Ethan paints cars in black and white with fast, raw brushwork. His site had one job: get out of the way of the paintings. I designed and built a dark, gallery quiet website that lets the art do the talking.

A full screen film opens the site, then the pages slow down: big black and white images, short words, and plenty of room around every painting.
